Oktoberfest Malaysia 2013

I can't believe, Oktoberfest is coming again! To me, October is a good month for those people who can relax and have fun with others without limit! Last year was my first time joining the big event of Oktoberfest, good evening food, great people, exciting music, and of course, bottomless beer! I still remember I'd got the Paulaner limited edition mug and it's still with me now!

This year, Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB), the leading beer and stout company in Malaysia will be celebrating the German Oktoberfest attractive promotions and they are giving away special edition 1 litre Ceramic Oktoberfest Mug for those drinkers when they're enjoying GAB's iconic brews as well! 

Originally Oktoberfest is a wedding celebration where it existed in 1810 to commemorate the union between Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen at Theresienwiese, so the oktoberfest is refered by Germans as "die Wies'n" or "the field". 


2013 Oktoberfest will be going on from 21 September, 2013 till 6 October 2013, for 16 days of culture, cuisine and beers. There are many activities during the Oktoberfest season including live music, dancing, horse races, street parades and the appreciation of authentic Munich-brewed beer. Do you know that Oktoberfest is a global celebration and in 2011, there are nearly 7 million visitors celebrated the event together!

Not only Paulaner, there are other GAB's selection beers including Tiger, Guinness and Heineken brewed exclusively during the Oktoberfest season!
